John Andrews, a Senior Software Control Engineer and business owner, has over 25 years experience of process control system development and project implementation.  He has designed and created numerous customized packages to extend system function and production.

Andrews, who graduated with honors from the U.S. Army Signal Core Computer Systems training, has 16 years of experience with Measurex Corporation developing numerous database utilities during U.S. and European assignments. He has also created and conducted numerous on-site training sessions for technical personnel.

In 1989, Andrews founded Softgoods International, Inc., an engineering software consulting company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. The growing company has successfully completed many projects for major companies and large corporations including American Cyanamid, Eli Lilly, FMC Corporation, Georgia Pacific, International Paper and Thilmany Paper.

Softgoods International continues to pursue process control system development and project implementation as a core business focus. In 1995, the growing company diversified and established a large and successful replacement parts business to assist an increasing number of customers searching for cost effective parts solutions. In 2005, Softgoods International launched its first highly successful MxOpen System upgrade project for the paper industry, and has since been designing and creating innovative software solutions for that industry.

Andrews continues to run his company with strict adherence to his original mission statement which puts the needs of the customer first.
